Greta C. Wink spent most of her childhood in Machias, Maine, where a lack of extracurricular options resulted in a lot of time spent entertaining herself with dolls, books, games, and the stories she began to write down. Before there were blogs, she wrote THE FRENCH FRY NEWS, an intermittent periodical that she forced her family to read after each was released. Back issues still circulate through her parents' house during holidays and vacations.

Greta spent her childhood and adolescence indulging and exploring her creative impulses. And there were many impulses. Throughout these journeys, writing took center stage, whether it was songs, short stories, or scripts. She was fortunate enough to be surrounded by people who supported her in each unlikely endeavor.

After graduating from Messiah College in 2005 with a degree in Communication, she moved to New York City to pursue a long-dreamed of career in filmmaking. She worked briefly as a producer at 4th Row Films before she realized that she didn't want to work in the film industry. But she did want to keep writing.

Greta then moved to Seoul, South Korea, where she became a frequent performer, including Stand Up Seoul, Seoul Players, Comedy with Curves, and the LOLympics. Recently she appeared in Jamie Horan's "Michael Prince's Capstone Performance" as well as Daniel Kennedy's "Out of the Loop," and she performs comedy at least a couple times a month in Seoul’s expat bars.

Currently, Greta evaluates scripts and films for the Nantucket Film Festival, New York Midnight, and the Korea International Expat Film Festival. She has two Kindle books, MILTON RECOMMENDS and MR. CARTWRIGHT AND THE FINAL SOLUTION. Her next projects are TIGHTS, a web series about super heroes, and THE NUMBER SYSTEM, a novella about interdependence.

In what free time she has left, Greta likes to play tabletop games, doodle, design games for her kindergarteners, and read one of the books she was able to stuff in her carry-on.
